Artist
Margaret Freeman attended the Eric Pape School , Boston, the Art Students League and the National Academy of Design, New York City. As well, she studied in Paris with Richard Miller, an American painter. She is best known as an illustrator of children's books, among them Hop, Skip and Jump and other books by Dorothy Aldis.

Purchased out of an exhibition of Monotypes lent by the Ehrich Gallery, New York, at Memorial Art Gallery July 2-October 4, 1919.
