Eugène Béjot’s etching of London’s Waterloo Bridge shows the bridge from the opposite direction of Monet’s paintings of the same subject. Béjot, who specialized in prints of cityscapes, made this etching when he visited London in 1899—the same year Monet began his Thames series paintings.
