Boehm of Malvern, England, Ltd.
Mr. Boehm died in 1969, at the age of fifty-six. The studio continued under the charge of Helen Boehm. She expanded the corporation and opened another studio in England to further develop the collection. Mrs. Boehm decided to start with a new medium - bone porcelain. England was already renowned for its bone porcelain so Mrs. Boehm opened the Malvern studio in the countryside of Worcestershire in 1971. Boehm of Malvern continued to develop the delicate floral pieces, and many other animal sculptures that are recognizably Boehm. The Malvern studio was closed in 1992 in order to concentrate on the U.S. market.
