Narrative
"Havens passed through this alley on his way to the parachute factory where he worked in 1943. On D-Day the woman who lived here placed the flags in her flowerpots.
"Print Prize, 11th Annual Western New York Exhibition, The Buffalo Fine Arts Academy, Albright Art Gallery.
"An 'Alley Ardor' exhibited with the Rochester Art Club in 1945 for $150, was probably the painting of the same scene."
