Page removed from an issue of Le Charivari, issued May 21, 1851, and trimmed. The cartoon shows Pierre Antoine Berryer (1790-1868), a lawyer and politician, serenading Louis Désiré Véron. The title refers to a song from Rossini's "Barber of Seville."
