The accession logbook says that 50.52 was assigned to a lithograph entitled "Chloe" by Daniel J. Murphy, gift of Emily Sibley Watson, deaccessioned 4/11/89. The Art Committee minutes for 4/11/89 list Chloe on a list of duplicate prints approved for deaccession. The accession number on the list is given as 50.53, a typo which is corrected on later documents related to the deaccession. The deaccession file in the registrar''s office contains records that show that the print was sold at auction by Winter Associates, Plainville, CT, at auction #197 on 9/25/89. An un-numbered print of Tuttle''s "Raven on Stump" was sent by MAG to Winter Associates in the same shipment (outgoing 4023), and sold at the same sale. There is no source for this print indicated on the documentation, but as no accession number is cited, it was apparently not deaccessioned; it is listed as "anonymous gift" which generally means "found in collection." Further research is needed to determine where the Tuttle print now 50.52 originally came from. A quick check of Mrs. Sibley Watson''s donor file and donor cards in the registrar''s office do not show it, and the 1950 gift predates the incoming forms.", "Images": [ { "ImagePath" : "https://webkiosk.gallerysystems.com/Media/images/50.52_A1.jpg", "ThumbnailPath" : "https://webkiosk.gallerysystems.com/Media/Thumbnails/50.52_A1.jpg", "PreviewPath" : "https://webkiosk.gallerysystems.com/Media/Previews/50.52_A1.jpg", "IIIF_URL": "http://iiif.gallerysystems.com/50.52_A1.jpg", "IsPrimary" : "1", "_SurrogateID" : "32627", "Image_Type" : "digital image", "Photo_Credit" : "", "Remarks" : "", "View" : "" } , ] }, ] }
